Air Conditioning

You can regulate the temperature of your room (heat or cool) with the remote control. Ensure your power tag is inserted to power your air conditioning unit. Press ‘Snow Flake’ for Cool and ‘Sun’ for Heat.

Baby Facilities

Baby cots and high chairs are available at a cost per night. Please contact reception.

Baggage Storage

If you require your luggage to be stored on check out, please see Reception.

Banks and ATMs

There are a variety of banks in the Margaret River Village.

Barbeque

The barbeque is located in the pool area and is available from 8am until 8pm daily. Please leave the area clean for the next guest.

Bar

Our bar is available to guests and locals from 11 am to late.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available in our restaurant daily. Please check for times of operation as they are seasonal.

Car Parking

Car parking is fee of charge, however please be careful when parking under the gum trees as our local wildlife have a habit of picking off nuts and dropping them on vehicles. The Resort will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any vehicle in the car park areas.

Check out Time

Check out time is 10am. Extensions are subject to availability and must be prearranged. A charge may apply for extended requests.

Cleanliness

We kindly ask that you leave the accommodation in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Any rubbish from outside the resort should be placed in the bins provided outside the units. A cleaning fee may have to be applied in exceptional cases.

Conference Facilities

Conference facilities are available for use on request, a range of equipment is also available and specialty items can be hired. For bookings and enquiries or to view the rooms, please contact the conference team or write an email to admin@gemr.com.au.

Credit Cards

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS. A service fee of 1.2% applies to all transactions.

Doctor/Dentist

If you require a doctor or dentist during your stay please contact reception or google the nearest medical facilities. The Margaret River Hospital is on Farrelly Street, Margaret River.

Electricity

Voltage in the resort is 240 volts. Adaptors are available upon request from reception. A $20 deposit will be placed on your account until it is returned.

Emergency Exit

An evacuation plan with directional signs and instructions is located on the back of your room door. Please familiarise yourselves with the emergency exit procedures. In the event of an emergency, we ask that you please follow staff instructions.

Hotel Room Keys

You are welcome to leave your key at reception when going out, however, please remember to check reception times. Please ensure you take your key with you whenever you leave the room to avoid being locked out. If after hours, you may be charged a call out fee. If you fail to return or lose the key you will be charged $150.

In Room Wireless Internet

Wireless internet is available in all rooms at no charge.

Laundry

A guest laundry is located adjacent to Room 36 that is available from 9am to 8.30pm. Washing powder can be purchased and if you require coins please see reception. The laundry is equipped with an ironing board and iron.

Liability

Guests are personally responsible for any damages, missing inventory from the room or used during the stay, or unpaid charges incurred during the stay. This liability cannot be waived.

Lost Property

Please contact reception if you have misplaced any items. The housekeeping department keeps a log of any items found on the premises for a limited time.

Maintenance

In the event of a malfunction or fault in your room, please contact reception.

Mini Golf

To use the 9 hole golf course, putters and balls are available from reception at no cost. You will need to sign them out and in and if they are not returned in original condition a replacement fee may be charged.

Non-Smoking Rooms

All the rooms at Grande Escape Resort are non-smoking. In the interest and comfort of all guests, any person wishing to smoke should do so in the designated areas. If smoking in the room occurs, a fee of $250 will be charged to cover cleaning costs.

Noise

The hotel’s accommodation and facilities are for all guests; please respect the comfort and wellbeing of others and keep noise at a decent level. Noise levels must be reduced by 10pm (or earlier if requested by staff). Should we receive complaints, the hotel reserves the right to apply additional charges or ask the offending guests to leave the property with no refunds if the noise persists.

Pool Area

The pool area is open between 8am and 8pm (hours may vary according to the season). Pool towels can be obtained from reception but must be signed out and in to avoid a charge. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Running, diving and bom diving is prohibited in this area as well as the use of glassware. Please respect the furniture and other guests and keep noise to a minimum.

Restaurant

The restaurant is open for dinner from Monday to Saturday, 5.30pm – 9pm (last orders – 8.30pm). We serve a seasonal a la carte menu. Come and dine with us alfresco on the deck or enjoy a drink in front of the two fireplaces on a cold evening. Please visit our website to see the current menus.

Valuables

We are not responsible for any loss of money, jewellery or other valuables from the accommodation or vehicles. Where a safe is in the room we advise its usage.
